I was trying to figure out if you're supposed to floss before brushing, and google led me here. So thanks for the info - you can tell your friends that you are doing a great public service through your blog :)
I too hate ticketmaster, a lot. I wanted to get some concert tickets and of course had to go through them. I almost didn't want to go to the show because I didn't want to buy the tickets through them. I wasn't even sure why I hated them so much. So I googled them and found out that Pearl Jam actually cancelled some summer tour a while back due to their suckiness. This somehow validated my feelings of hatred. I saw on the ticketmaster website that they had an outlet at a couple Tower Record stores in town, but there were no associated phone numbers. I called Tower Records and the helpful clerk (it sounded to me like I wasn't the first person to call Tower asking about the ticketmaster outlet) told me that if i came in to buy the tickets in person at the ticketmaster outlet that the "convenience" charge may be less, but he couldn't say how much less, and he added that you can't actually call the ticketmaster outlet. I called ticketmaster and they were equally vague. So for the hell of it, and because i hate them so much, I went to the outlet, hoping to be able to give them at least a couple bucks less. I ended up paying the same amount for the "convenience" charge as if I had ordered the tickets online or by phone. They really suck.

Yup, i hate ticketmaster too. I mean, its possible, that they're using that $2.50 surcharge to pay off the development of the feature, and perhaps continue to develop the service, but you'd really think they had enough money to do that already....

I couldn't agree more. $2.50 to print your ticket what the hills of hell is that? That's like going to McDonalds and them saying "Would you like to pay an extra $2.50 to cook your own damn meal, while we take a nap in the back?"
